Some people might ask, Why is the Australian league in the latest CM? Well that's
easy. Australia has produced World stars such as Mark Bosnich, Mark Viduka, Harry
Kewell, Mark Schwarzer, Paul Okon etc and all but one of those players has
played in the NSL (National Soccer League). We continue to produce star players
such as Ivan Ergic, Jess Van Stratten, (Both Juventus) Brett Emerton, (Feyenoord),
Jason Culina, Joe Didulica (Both Ajax) and the list goes on. So it is
easy to see why the Aussie league should have been included a long time ago. Our inaugrual Head Researcher, David Bintley has done a tremendous job along with his assistants considering the short time we had to do the job properly and the lack of help from certain clubs - YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! Anyway enough of the drivel, keep coming back all you Aussie soccer supporters as this site will be updated regularly and if you think you know a bit about Aussie Soccer then why not apply to be a researcher? WELCOME to Cm Australia!!! This site along with the Aussie league in CM is long overdue but as the saying goes - better late than never. The purpose of this site is for all the Australian researchers to come to this site to keep each other informed of the latest movements of all the Australian players and to keep tabs on the players form. |
